Providing quality meat and oil from NATURALLY raised emu. |

An emu is a "ratite" - a flightless bird from the same family as the ostrich, cassowary, rhea, and kiwi.
The mature emu stands five to six feet tall and weighs in at between 90 and 120 pounds.
No longer an odd sight in the United States, this Australian native has become widely known for its low-fat, iron-packed red meat as well as its Omega rich, moisturizing oil, fine leather and exquisite large green eggs.
Today, dedicated producers tend birds on many farms throughout the 48 mainland states, with the majority of emus being currently produced in the Southeast.
Through producer efforts and the strong leadership of the American Emu Association (AEA), the emu industry is making headway as consumers become more familiar with emu products.
